Default Gear Benefit

So I have a 1999 Z28 and I'm pretty sure it has 2.73's. What would be the best gear ratio to upgrade to? It is completely stock. Gas mileage not a huge issue.

4.10's are usually the gear of choice for M6's...3.73's for the A4's. I did the 2.73 to 3.73 swap a few years ago and loved it...really woke the car up.

I agree, 3.73's are a good all around gear for an automatic. Bob
