Default Finished up the Dyno Tune.

Got it finished up on the Mustang Dyno. It had 345rwtq and 340rwhp which is about 375rwhp or so on a dynojet I believe? Correct me if I'm wrong. But yeah, I'm running it through an 80 series muffler that has a pipe that is literally 1.75 inches in diameter that goes over the axle into the muffler. So I'm very aware of a cutout being needed. Definately. Ran it to 6200rpm's. I'd post the graph up but I dont have a scanner to do so unfortunately. Figured I'd let you guys know what the LE2 package did with the smaller cam and unported intake manifold/stock TB put down.

A few years back, shortly after a new clutch install, I had my car tuned on a Mustang Dyno. The last run Hit 340 rwhp on the dot.

After the tunning, on the way home, I stopped by a local shop that had a Dynojet and just for *****-n-giggles, strapped her down for a few power pulls... less than two hours after hitting 340 on a Mustang dyno, she laid down 389 on a Dynojet.

Where was the torque peak at and did the hp peak at 6200 or was it still climbing a bit?

Torque peaked at 3800rpm and HP started to level off at about 6200 which is perfect for me, I don't wanna spin it too high.

Why...because a dynojet doesn't actually measure torque, It just measure how quickly you spin the drums while a Mustang Dyno actually does...so you feel better about your less accurate number Good numbers none-the-less, get a real exhaust on there though

Made me feel better cuz I see ppl runnin 400+ and I felt like mine wasn't all that close to it in comparing the numbers, so it was kinda like "like somethin isn't right.."

I did have SLP loudmouth's on it, but the car was ridiculously loud. Put flows on it for a quick fix til I get some cash gathered.

Yea, dynojet numbers are a bit high, and reason for the popularity of their use is the fact that they are substantially cheaper then mustang dyno's. But they serve their purpose, dyno numbers are all relative as well, its all in the hands of whoever calibrated it, track times, more specifically mph is the best measure of power, E/T is the best measure of overall set-up
