Well thought the title would be funny since my car started acting up yesterday. When I start the my car it runs fine but I notice it starts to like studder and sound like it wants to turn off. This just happens for a few seconds then starts to idle fine. After a bit it'll start to do it again then go back to normal idle. When I start to drive the car it shakes and feels like it wants to turn off then drives normal. The funny thing is that the problem will completely go away and the car drives normal again. What can be the problem??????

i remember aguy that had a old 4x4 that had a string attached to a makeshift choke he use to pull on it while in the cab to make it sound like it had a real badass cam

I would start with simple things like sensors or plug-in connections. Check them to see if they are dirty or contaminated. Maybe MAF sensor

That's what I'm thinking. I drove it today and it was fine. I'll make sure to check the MAF and sensors. Or maybe I'll just leave it like it is and say that it's a cam, bolt-on LS1. Thanks

IAC motor. I would almost bet money on it. It gets all dirty and gets carbon all over it, then it wont control the idle like its supposed to. Pull it out and clean it, or replace it with a new one.

I don't know man I really couldn't tell you I'm really clueless when it comes to electrical and all that other stuff. I'm thinking of taking it to my mechanic.

I'm relatively certain that that is not the case here:eyes:

I'd check for vaccuum leaks and clean up all your sensors.
