Which clutch??
I have been doing some looking around on the stores here. I see that everyone offers the SPEC clutches and it seems like they have a good rep. I also seen the website for competition clutches. Does anyone have any experience with them?? Just trying to narrow my search for when I buy the clutch.

iv got a spec 2. this thing chattered its *** off when i first put it in. its been in for about 4 months (i think) and most of it has gone away. i seriously thought i was going to break something it was so bad. but now it performs almost like stock but if you heat it up a little, its almost an on-off switch it grabs so well. the spec 2 release bearing broke on me so they sent me one from a spec 3 and is working fine now.

RAM Powergrip HD here with billet steel spec flywheel. This clutch is basically on/off. grabs well. Kinda hard to get used to though. I don't see this slippin anytime soon with my setup.

You can't go wrong with the Mcleod Twin disk. Mine drives pretty much like a stocker and hooks hard enough to find any weak links. It's expensive but comes with a billet flywheel and an adjustable master cylinder.

I imagine his clutchs will handle more but he rates his low so the buyer has a good clutch to hold the power they need! I think he does it that way so people dont buy it and think it will handle more and it dosnt! I have one and it has held up good so far! Oh and my car makes a little more than 400!

Ive had a Ram Powergrip for a while now. Seems like a great clutch so far. Grabs like a clamp and feels mostly like stock. Mine chatters a bit but its not bad IMO.

for what it is worth, I wouldn't run anything but a Mcleod street twin! only way to fly!
and i have put it through it's paces, from 320 rwhp all the way to approximately 900 rwhp.
just my .02
g'luck on your choice.

There is a new player in the market for late model clutches too - www.monsterclutches.com and they seem to be a pretty solid unit.

I like the street twin but, I'm more of a budget racer because of the economy. I had a Powergrip HD when I was cam only running 12.7's but, I'm looking for something different this time.
