well the gas gauge randomly stopped working, it's down all the way and we put gas in, and it didn't move. the "check gauges" light is on from it.

I think im gonna try to reset the PCM and see if it works. How do I do this?
also could it be anything else?

Yours is the same? The check gauges light comes on when your low on gas, so i'm guessing thats why, cause my gas gauge is dead. if you just need to reset the PCM I found out how to do that, but my gas gauge is still not working, and reading empty.

probably gonna have to replace the sender in the tank

Crap.. it's in the tank? could this just suddenly stop working? Is there a fuse related to this or anything?
