Got Bored Painted 10 Spokes I took my 10 spokes off today and painted them. They are unfinished in the pics. Still need to clean up some rough edges where the tape didnt stick all the way down. Overall I am very pleased with the results. Cleaned them really good, taped them and roughed up with a scotch brite pad. I used rustoleum gloss black, gonna follow up clearing the wheel.

Ok I lied LOL. Couldnt resist.
Here they are mounted. Sorry for crappy res pics my digi wont work for **** inside the shop so I have to use cellphone camera. The hoods coming back off to break in the new tranny and clutch then its off to paint. :woot:

YEAH! I did the same thing last summer with mine....you aren't kidding, taping it off sucks ***, but I'm really happy with the results. Just keep this in mind: I put 3 coats of clear on mine and they still get rock chips very very easily (even when I used duplicolor wheel paint)
