Street Racing & Kill Stories - Roasted a modded GT500

A salesmen at my work got a GT500 a few months ago and has been talking all kinds of sh%&.He just got an intake and full exhaust so we had a few runs in front of our shop wendsday.2 runs from a dig and 1 from a 30 roll.First run,we left on three honks and i hooked great and pulled him by like 3-4 cars.Second run i spun quit a bit and got him by like 2 id say(not sure).All dig runs were done to about 90 id say because of lack of road..Third and final run from a roll it was even till about 60 then i just started to pull pretty good.Needless to say he was really embarrased getting beaten infront of the whole shop.Hes a really great guy and i kind-off felt bad for him but hey...Somtimes when you mess with the bull...You get the horns..LSX dumdumdum!!!

He kept telling me before the race that i would have to wait till i got my 427ci to beat him but i guess hes gonna have to do somthing radical to even compete with that...He said he got somthing planned for me..Maybe an upgraded Blower?

But it was all good times and i still (for now) have full reign on my shop..lol:D

Very nice kills, man. Watch out when he throws a pulley and tune on it (from personal experience), but I'm sure that 427 will help you out quite a bit. :nod:

Yeah, his first mods weren't the most beneficial. Pully and tune and that beast wakes her fat ass up. Would be a totally different animial to deal with.

Man there are two in town here. Both have basic mods with exhaust pulley and tune. both running 12.20s to 12.50's I know they can be monsters, But i have yet to be impressed

GT500's are still getting 50k and when they first came out well into the 60s. Definately not a young man's car. Alot of older dudes are buying them up and lets be honest they are not the best drivers when it comes to drag racing. A stock GT500 will run a high 11, but it has to have great traction and the driver mod.
