Default 4.3 LT1 external parts the same as a 5.7?

I have a 95 5.7 LT1 from a Z28 that is just a longblock, and I found a cheap 96 4.3 LT1 I could use for parts to finish the 5.7..is the intake, opti, tin parts, etc the same as the 5.7? I would guess the injectors are a smaller size, correct? Also would need to use the hub and flexplate, would they be the same balancing as the 5.7?

Heads you wouldn't want to use (not that you could) and the injectors you might as well get a nice set of Ford Motorsports (aka FMS or some of us still call them SVO due to people knowing them by that name) injectors. No idea on the flexplate, but the hub isn't balanced (hence no keyway) and should work. Intake, TB, valve covers and exhaust manifolds should be the same. Not sure on fuel rail, all depends if it's driver or pass side fed. 90% sure the accessory brackets are different though. I know Vette's are at least (same with their fuel rail).

All the above seems to be correct, the fuel rails are the same, the injectors are smaller for the L99 so change them out. the Accesory brackets and tensioner are all the same, the air injection system is also very similar other than hoses, the exhaust manifolds should be slightly different never actually seen stock camaro ones....Flexplate etc all the same on backside, front timing cover is the better vented type and should have a 96 only crank position sensor which you can just plug the hole or leave sensor unplugged for a 95 using OBD1....

thanks, I plan on using the front hub, flexplate, valve covers, complete intake with throttle body, and the front drive system. This is going into a 70 chevelle with headers so no worries about the exhaust system.
What Ford injectors would be equal to the stock 24lb ones?

Nothing, exactly. 24# = 25.5#

You can calc it out with this, Ford PSI=39.5, GM=43.5. (last calculator)
