i was wondering if it wuld hurt a sub if u paint the inside of it? like the red part of this one?

It already matches your dash what do you need more paint for?
As long as you prep it right and don't use solvents that will destroy the cone or the surround/adhesives you should be fine. I could change the efficiency of the speaker but it shouldn't be anything you would notice.

spot on. It might change the tonal abilities of the speaker, but as long as the solvents dont damage the rubber, etc youll be fine.
