I blew out my front right tire. My other three tires have about 1/2-3/4 life left. these tires were fairly expensive. Would it be ok to replace the front one with a cheap tire and then in the future when i need to replace the others i can just replace that one as well?

You "should" replace tires in pairs, unless the remaining tires have plenty of tread.

The new tire(s) should be mounted on the rear of the car, not the front.

Just kidding, they are the cheapest and the worst... Best to match tires, I concure..
