Talking Worlds First Remote Mt. Turbo CTS-V

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...pix-build.html

Here is a link to my build on the FI section of LS1 Tech.
I'm from CT. and thought I would share the build with
my fellow East Coast bretheren.

car is still under construction. i'm hoping it will be done before the weekend.
i ran into a minor bump with sp tuners. they dont have a 2 bar sd tune for the car
as of yet...so now it's back to maf. the rest of my parts come in tomorrow...
we'll see.

Looks good.I wouldn't worry about 2 bar SD for 500rwhp.The stock MAF setup can take 600-650rwhp and drive fine. You just need to play with the VE table to help spool area's.
Well,I have EFI live, don't know if HP offers the same type of tuning.

thanks! yeah, hp has the same ve tables, but sd woulda been
shaweet. it makes the cold pipe install look that much cleaner,
now i have to shorten and adjust more pipe. but i know all to
well it's to be expected. a dollar to take apart, 2 dollars to put back
together.

HPTuners can do MAF, SD, and multi bar MAP tuning as well as Real Time Tuning. Dial it in as you drive, makes it so easy to get the driving tune dialed in.

Great project. Looking forward to hearing what it does at the track.

Not to rain on your parade but we put a modded F-body Kit on a CTS-V in 2005 it was fun has a 67trim and put down 510 rwhp with plently of room but no need to blow up the caddy It still roams the streets of D.C Black/Black 5% tint and gunmetal powdercoated rims

$7k to Madman will get you a 9" IRS installed

Or you can just be careful and respect the POS stock diff.

I have chosen the latter for what should be obvious reasons.
