Pretty much every movie out there is criticized by true insiders of whatever endeavor is undertaken in the movies. You have to package movies with the non-insider in mind. TFATF is no different, just that us car guys know all the gaffes for it.
Show a bank robber a bank robbery flick and he'll point out all the flaws, same with a war movie and a real life Navy SEAL.

Just because you're a car enthusiast and have an appreciation for cars and like the movies in that sense, doesn't mean that you are a ricer..
If you call nitrous "NOS" or "Naawwwzz" for some of you.. lol.. after seeing these movies and refuse to educate yourself, but instead spout off a bunch of b.s. that you heard/saw in a movie, thus it must be true, then you're a ricer..
I enjoy the movies, but I like movies and I like cars, so no matter how dumb or cheesy the movie may be, I'll still probably check it out.

There lies the problem, all the idiot ricers out there dont know the gaffes and think those movies are very realistic. Thats why we had tards drifting their FWD cars into trees outside of the theater parking lot.
