How many valley covers?

How many valley covers? I've been looking at some completion kits for bare LS blocks and some of them list two valley pans covers #12570471 (good) and 12575742. What is the 12575742 and do you need it?

There is an LS1 cover an LS6 and an LS2. The difference between LS1 and the LS6 is the PCV provision on the LS6 cover. But some blocks need to be notched for the cover to fit. LS2 valley cover is for... an LS2 block
