Default GMA 2010 Camaro LT/RS

GMA 2010 Camaro LT/RS

SEMA 2008 featured a handful of 2010 Camaros, but only two of them, the 2010 Camaro SS and the Camaro LT/RS are models currently intended for production. General Motors used a spread of Camaros to showcase appearance packages and factory offered upgrades that we very well may never see meet production, such as the Camaro Black, the Dale Jr. Edition, and the Camaro LS7. Although many people are very hopeful that the LS7 will find its way to production, the SS and LT are the only two that we are certain that will be available for sale in 2009 when they begin hitting the streets. Based on the LT, which is essentially the base model, General Motors Accessories (GMA) offered up this bright yellow 2010 Camaro LT with the RS package upgrade.

Drivetrain
Like all 2010 Camaro LT models, this one began with a 3.6L V6 which Gm boasts will make 300 horsepower and get around 25 miles per gallon on the highway. This particular model has been modified by adding the Chevy Accessories V6 cold air intake package and the V6 catback exhaust option, but no quote on what power that adds was made.

Exterior
Next, the GMA Camaro LT/RS shows off the RS Appearance package, which in this case includes 20 inch Midnight Silver painted aluminum wheels, a rear spoiler, High Intensity Discharge headlights with Halo rings, unique tail lights, and RS badging. Along with those options, GMA has added front and rear body colored fascias with both front and rear diffusers, and filling the lower fascia area is a set of optional fog lights.

Interior
Finally, GM has dressed up the interior, which already came equipped with a Boston Acoustics premium sound system with XM satellite radio and OnStar. They then added the optional gauge cluster upgrade, leather power/heated seats, a yellow interior trim package, and a Hurst short throw shifter.

It was a wise move for GM to show off what all can be done to the base model 2010 Camaro, considering how low the price is in comparison to the Mustang GT, which will offer only 15 more horsepower in the 2010 models, so the Mustang crowd may be swayed by the more cost effective and fuel friendly V6 Camaro.

According to what I read, there will only be an Inferno Orange Interior trim package. Are there going to be other colors now or was this a SEMA deal?
