I agree with talking with Forced Inductions. A mpt70 or TC unit would be a start for research purpose. You probally want 75lbs/min to hit your target(kinda shootin from hip on that...)

TC72 or TC76...leave yourself room to grow. The 76mm already spools like a big block on a stock cube LS1.

Also Phamspeed is originally Joel from OFI if I remember correctly. Someone know this for sure????

I would agree with leaving your self room to grow. I said i would be happy with 500 and a few months latter i am wishing i had gone bigger and given my self that room.

Doc, Pham was Jon pham and had a short run here on tech. Joel was from OFI/GMR fame.

TC76 gets my vote!!!!!! Spools like a ****, I really need to record it spooling on my car and post up a vid

personally i would go w a 76 for room to grow but you know once you get the hp you want youl will always want more. and even if you are stock bottom end you can run low boost and thats less stress on yor turbo .

I m all for a 76, but you have a few thousand dollars to spend before hand.....

4.10 gears......gotta go.....you said street / strip car.....well youll have to go auto to make it truely strip worthy, or atleast get the 1500 hp mcleod twin clutch or similar. So unless you do gears yourself, thats few hundred, 1200 more on the clutch, plus the install, or go th400, 1600 + 1000 for a convertor, then ofcourse gear swap either way. But atleast it will last. If you head strong on keeping the t56, you ll need a 2 step, thats another 275$.

Or get a 67, or small 70 and dont change the rest of the car. It will et horrible but it will be fun, but youll still need a clutch.

Then their is the fuel......

Ofcourse making 500-550 is easy even with a 67, so if thats truely the goal, go with the smallest turbo that will get you there. Otherwise performance suffers cause the rest of teh car is wrong.
