Default amp by-pass

hey jw i blew out my monsoon 6.5 stock speakes in the front doors of my car i bought a pair of sony Xplode speakers installed them and the are quiet and sound kinda scratchy when the radio is turned up..i asked a audio shop they said it needs a amp by pass and its 50 bucks because my new speakers are a dif frequency?? or somthing..jw what it takes to do this and if it could be done easily or should i just let them do it?

return the speakers and get the correct ones, the CL-61CVs are a great choice for the stock monsoon amp
check out keeaudio.com , he is a sponser and is having a special

if you don't want to spend much on speakers then just get some stock replacements from ebay, will probably sound much better than running some sony speakers off of the headunit.
