while I am no expert on lifters I would have to say that there are people besides Predator Z using the Comp 850-16s. I am basing this on the belief that Comp Cams would not be making these if they only sold a set to Pred Z once a year.

Have you tried a search? You might also wanna also look into the Morels, though with your puny cam I think they would not be needed at all.

I had them in my stock bottom motor with heads and a 228/230 cam 1.8 crane gold race rockers. I had about 2k miles on them without issue. I pulled them out and i'm using them in my 383. I think they'll be just fine.

Comp does't make them anyways. Thats the same lifter as a Crane #10530-16, #JB2079 Melling, etc.. They will work fine.

How much noise do they make? Comparable to stock?
Just wanted to know if they are any better/quieter than the LS7 lifter. Thanks for the responses!

Mine seemed quieter than stock. A couple people didn't believe my valvetrain setup due to how quiet it was. I didn't have any sewing machine effect most people complain about, for the setup as a whole. How much the lifters were a part of that, I don't know.
