How much of it is exposed..is it in the front of the Engine Bay, or toward the back..

id be scared to try it but maybe some lube to help ease whats stuck out while attempting to JB weld the head back on the bolt. Depends how much is sticking out and what im suggesting may not be the best but there you go.

How did it break? was it on THAT tight?!

depending on how much is sticking out , or how deep it is in the head will depend if you are in luck

Buy another head. That's what I did when I broke an exhaust bolt on #7. Honestly. Cheaper and easier. XD

Actually its 1 cyilnder back from the front, so its pretty accessable. But NONE of the bolt is sticking out above the head head.

I better NOT have to buy a new head, this sucks...

Heres what you can try and do. Take a small punch and a hammer, start by hammering the punch straight down on the top of the bolt. Do not punch straight into the center of the bolt do it to one side. What you want to create is a little divet for your punch to catch on. Now take your punch and angle it so that when you tap on it that it will be unthreading the bolt (counter clockwise). Just make sure you have a small enough punch with a good sharp tip. Think you could take a picture at all? Good luck I hope you dont have to pull the head.

You gonna need a small drill bit and an easyout bolt extracter. You can do the hammer and punch thing but you got to be very careful that you dont mess up the threads. Just my .02.

yep id get a bolt extractor set . they evn suggest what size bit to use to drill the hole . then tap in the extractor and give her a few turns and out she comes should be pretty easy aslong as its accessable. i had to do the same thing w/ a broke manifold bolt during a header install .

go buy some reverse rotation drill bits. find the right size start drilling in reverse and when the bit gets enough bite on the screw it will turn itself out.

good luck

left handed drill bit will be your friend if you use an easy out. just make sure the bit you use is the right size and doesnt damage the threads. also when you put the removal tool into the hole you drill dont use the drill to try and back it out. you want to start turning the removal tool nice and slow

don't drill all the way through it. some of the go right into the port and you don't want shavings in there. How far down did it break. I have welded a nut on top of broken bolts before to turn them out
