Default New ZR1 Differential Fits in the C5 !!!

Here are some pictures of the new Z06 Diff (left) compared to the new ZR1 (right)

It looks to be quite a bit stronger  Looking at the last picture, the cast is thicker inside and out !

If you wanted to use this diff, it would require you simply bolt up a c6 rear subframe in your c5. Direct bolt on baby. I LOVE CHEVROLET

Deffinently stronger but this statment is completely wrong, there is alot more involved then just changing out the rear subframe, like the trans output shaft.

So that would be a kick *** upgrade too, going from an mn6 or mn12 to a 6060 wheres the problem in that lol

That is sick!!
I wonder if a ZR1 TR6060 would bolt up to a C5 diff case then... Or how easy it would be to do so.

Correct, you would need the rear sub frame, lower controll arms, put the complete T60 trans and diff in the car. You could also have the 32 spline tranny shaft installed in your T56 and have your pinion re-splined to utilize the larger shaft. All bolt on GM parts, no cutting, banging, or smashing required

Do it once, do it right the first time !

I believe the case has a different bolt pattern.

I know that it's a strong unit, but that is quite a chunk of change for a differential!
