Default 75-90 or 75-140 wt differance ?

what would do if I used 75-140 wt gear oil instead of 75-90 wt ?

nothing, you'll have better protection for higher heat while retaining your cold protection.

Better cold weather protection. Very slight loss in power cause it is thicker. Some think it helps to mask gear whine.
