Default MT 295/45r/17 Drag radials on a 10.5 wheel

I have a 01 SS M-6 ,building a forged Merkel racing 346 LS6 (almost done).

D1-sc procharged system, I made 533 RWHP on the stock motor, and looking to make 700 with the new motor

ok on the car now i am running BFG D/R 315-35-17 on 10.5 Fikse mag wheels
and they dont work for **** but fit and look good.

I was thinking on the 325-45-17 M+H D/R but i seen them on a C-5 vette , they work really good, but they are so big they fill the whole wheel well and dont look right.

so i am left with the Micky thompsons D/R tires ,

on my Fikse 10.5 by 17" i can either put the
315/35r/17 or the 295/45r/17

how well do u think the 295's will fit on a 10.5 wheel will they be to narrow? the 315 BF's fit perfect , with a little buble

on the 325/45 M+H tire ,they are 28" tall i even measured them

on a M/T 45 series they are a little smaller about 27 high this would be perfect hieght , M/T 315's are about 26 high (to short)
I like the 45 idea , a little more tire on the rim, to bad they didnt make a 315/45/17

well let me know what you guys think

i have 295 on my 10.5 and they fit perfect, it depends on the tire really. nittos i hear run a little smaller, while bfg dr run a little bigger. it all depends on your wallet.

A 295 45 17 mt would fit well on a 10.5 wheel and the extra sidewall from the 45 should help hook it better.

I've got some 9.5" wide wheels that I'm gonna put some mt 295 45 17 street radials on. Hoping the extra sidewall will help me out a good bit

I am just hoping the 10.5 wheels i have dont make the 295 M/T side wall look flat and straight , i like the look of my 315's on the 10.5 wheel now , a little muscle car bubble to it , looks nice!

295/45ZR17 fits fine on a 10.5" wide wheel. It is nearly 2" taller than a stock tire.

I love my M&H 325s. They hook great (1.50 last October). They do run narrow, though. Only 10.2 tread width.
