Talking Got my WS.9 Hood Painted! Pics Inside!

This has been a long time coming. This car has been the one I always wanted. I loved NBM and a WS.6 style Trans Am is the car that I always felt that this is the one and if I never buy another fun car, I would be happy.

Although orignally its a Base Trans Am, it's got all the things that make it a WS.6 to me.

Please look at he pics and make comments. I was VERY please with the work, they not only took the whole clip off to line it up perfect, they painted to look like stock and you could almost tell it has never been painted. There is slight wax dust but I will mess with that when I get a chance, It just snowed 3" here and the car is put away.

Next on the list is to do some accent/appereance mods.

Here is the list...

Remove Door Guards
Paint Calipers
Paint lettering for the Trans Am on the Door, "Pontiac" on the driver side head light cover and a "Ram Air" stencil

I haven't decided on a Silver or White Scheme, and for the hood to do a Black Bird style stripe or the Stock "RamAir" Lettering.

The Bird on the beauty plate I want to keep blue.

Thanks for looking!

Your car looks great man. That drivers side of the hood could use some slight attention though.

Thats is about as good as it is going to get. WS.9 by US exotic is a very good hood, it wont be perfect. Unfortuantely all WS.6 OEM hoods are not perfect. Compared to what it was its light year ahead.

I've been real close to buying that hood.I'm just real mental on fitment and noticed the driver side on the pics.Really wakes up the TA look.

Don, What I can say is that I am very particular about certain things and knowing that even GM OEM can and is most times off, I can live with this. I think the fuctional heat extractors give it that nice touch that sets it off from others.

Also the mesh is a DARK grey metallic which really matches it nicely.

Finally, thank you all for the kind words.

I had a 94 z28 that as far as the body was concerned, a 4 our of 10 at best and being able to slide into this car and keep it nice while going fast has been a really rewarding exp.

I am looking forward to mid 11's on motor next year and looking good doing it!!
