Memorial
One of the most proud moments in my enlistment was when we were coming into Hawaii from my 8 month deployment Operation Iraqi Freedom it is a Naval tradition when the ships pass the Arizona Memorial that all hands man the rails in dress whites aboard ship at attention passing the memorial it was pouring rain and not a one of us moved after we docked a Pearl Harbor Veteran came to me and said thank you shipmate as a tear rolled down his eye . That was worth my whole enlistment

I have a flag (folded respectfully) on my dash as a remembrance to all who serve and served. I hope it reminds people, as they pass me on the street, that there are men and women in harms way everyday. I started with the flag on my dash back in '97 and many people ask me about it.
