hey guys figured i would post while its still fresh on my mind.
Was just driving home from school and i notice a nice looking red and black crotch rocket behind me. As he comes up beside me i notice its a hyabusa. Im thinking id better not mess with that, it will stroke me. Well i dont i just drive along pretending hes not there. when we get outside the city he just stays on my *** no matter how fast or slow i go. now hes starting to **** me off, and all of a sudden he pokes in the turning lane and flies past me. I hit the gas when he does but he just blows past me and flies up ahead. I guess he noticed i kicked it so he slowed down and motioned me to a side road. So i follow, he stops beside me and asked if i wanted to race from a stop or punch. i said dig or course. Well im just running in DD mode so the tires have 28 PSI in them so i knew i wouldnt hook not to mention the road sucked. I do a burnout pull up beside him and he tells me to just take off. So i sowered down on the old girl and it spins thru 1st but it still gets out pretty good, i look back and hes WAY back probley 4-5 cars. im thinking i got him. The car hooks in second and i notice hes creeping up. i hit 3rd gear(80 mph) and hes coming on REALLY hard. by 110 MPH he flys past me and has about 3 cars by 130 we both let out. We turn around and he looks surprized as hes pacing beside me. Well i decide its time to turn on the bottle(140 shot, only 650 bottle presssure) and this time we go from a 50 MPH roll(so i can hook).
he tells me to just kick it again i do and pull about a 1/2 car lead and hold that until 3rd gear, when it shifts he pulls even and slowly pulls 1/2 car by 115 we both let out again. Over all i though the car did pretty good considering i was racing a fast *** crotch rocket. So i didnt win but i didnt get butt raped like i thought i would. i easily won the dig race for a 1/8th mile which was on motor i might add. And before i hear it i know i have the literacy
skills of a 5 year old but ask me if i care. Oh and the car is a H/C 346 with spray and drag wheels and radials and all that good ****. And also he would pop a small wheelie when he would shift sometimes so im sure there was some
improvements to be made on his driving but thats his fault. Flame on........

honorable death! one of my buddies always jokes around about racing my car with his bike, i always tell him if we go from a dig im jacking the wheel side ways so i run him over and win

but really just joking i know there is that vette thread about stupid people in cars, and that was only a joke bikers!

thanks guys thats what i said. i am a 1/8 mile racer so had that race been at the track i would have won because i actually would have hooked.unfortunetly i dont know of any tracks that allow cars to run bikes. but now i will have no doubts about racing these little bitches on 600s that constantly talk crap about cars cant hang with bikes blah....blah that have been asking for it around here.

I don't recommend racing 600's for money though. Chances are they will still beat you. 600's usually have a faster 0-60 then higher cc bikes do, and with thay they will beat you in the 1/8th.

me and the OP have both raced 600s... none of them will race us for money...

only time either of us have lost is when i had my 600.. i can ride (as in drag race) pretty damn good on a bike.. i am NOT a person for twisties..

from a 45 roll - 140ish.. he spun just a TAD and was on motor with my ex in the car filming... i pulled about 4 lengths on him.. he now has sticky tires, a LOT less weight in the car, yada yada yada..

i dont think any STOCK 600 would beat either of us.. especially not with an every day rider that does normally race..

Yeah roll ons to 140, if u were to race them in an 8th they would probably win.

they wont race us in the 1/8 because thats where we slaughter them..


the guys around here cant launch.. even the ones that can (at the strip), both my car and the OP's run faster times..

me and the op both are set up for the 1/8.... tires, gears, stall, etc... needless to say we have a good launch..


i give respect to the 600s though, dont get me wrong... they are def. quick..

I take your word for it. I'm just surprised. Probably cuz I'm a rider at heart, and a driver in the off season.

if you knew how the people around here race their bikes you wouldnt be so surprised..

i know what properly rode bikes are capable of... and a well ridden six hundred could keep up, but not win...
they can def. hold their own though....

he called me and was pretty psyched afterwards, but was like, yea im sure the rider sucked ***... he knew he beat the rider not the bike..

still would be ******* sweet to race a busa and have that outcome though!

A guy I used to work with said he would give me a 60 roll head start in my car and still beat me in the 1/4 mile. He would be stopped and take of when I passed him going 60 and still beat me. The race never happened but I think he thought way too much of his bike, even if it was a Busa.
