Cause it's not enough difference to make it worth the trouble IMO

237/242 to 239/242 with the only difference being an lsk intake lobe and narrower lsa won't make a hill of beans difference in that engine, not worth the hassle of a swap.

what are you aiming for with swapping cams? if you just want something to sound rowdy get a gmpp grand am cup cam. if you want something to run i think it'll need a little more attention. any plans for the 273 gears? i hear they make nice door stops...or at least mine did.

well the MS4 should be alot better than the MS3 since they revised it. but i dont think its worth the time and effort and money for the hp gains.

?? you mentioned how badass the ms4 sounds...so do you want a cam to go fast or do you want one to lope like mad? i am trying to offer some insight, man, chill out. i meant nothing negative by that comment. if you search you'll see that i ask just about everyone that question when they comment on how "badass" a cam sounds.

everything i said was regarding a cam. "it'll need a little more attention" refers to the use of a CUSTOM GRIND vs. an off-the-shelf cam designed for a stock-head ls1. so tell me how ya really feel haha. good luck with your cam choice or whatever it is you're trying to accomplish, these engines can run hard with a little attention to setup. i'm done.

Totally agreed.. I even talked to tsp and asked the difference, they said while the ms4 does out perform the ms3, they "basically make just about the same horsepower, there curves are just a little different"...

Quick Reply: keep ms3 or go to ms4??
