Default ls6 head swap

someone told me that a simple ls6 head swap and some bolt ons i can get 450 hp out of my ls1. Is that true? sounded kinda high to me but i dont know.

not true, irc you can get around 20whp out of the heads stock and bolt ons will net you around 30whp or so... you would still be a little under 400 without a cam imo..

If you do LS6 heads and cam, along with full bolt ons (Lid, LS6 intake, LT headers, Full exhaust, TB) you will be right around 400WHP. Which would be about 460HP at the crank.

It all depends on whether you're talking HP at the crank or at the wheels. If you're talking HP at the crank, its easy to get 450HP with LS6 H/C. To get 450HP at the wheels, you're going to need more than just stock LS6 parts.
