Default Widest drag radial on a Trans am?

Like my other post i am going with a new set of wheels on my TA. I would like to know what the widest Drag Radial I can put on it is, if the Summit star wheels come in a 15x10 to fit my car. If not then a 15x8. Thanks

275/50R-15 on a 15x10 Weld Pro Star Wheel with 7.5" backspacing is what I run.

If you are looking at the Summit Stars then you only have one option, 15x8 with a 5.5BS. Now for tires you can run a 275/50R15 with no modding whatsoever and the tire is just very VERY slightly taller than stock (.3-.4 inches). If you want to go with a bigger tire a 275/60R15 is a 28" tall tire that will fit on your 8" rim.

The 275/60 will have a slightly smaller contact patch then the 275/50 so the 275/50 will look wider.

On the 325/50x15 how much BFH did you have to do? it looks like the 325 is almost 2 inches wider total, and 1.5 to the ground?
