That cam should be perfect for daily driver. Its a little on the small side.

That depends on what you want out of it. I daily drove a 226 grind for a couple years. I enjoyed it. The F13 seems to be a decent cam for DD with more duration.

People like to run bigger cams now days, but that doesn't mean the smaller cams are not a viable option. Learn what the cam specs mean so you can make your own descision and get what YOU want instead of what someone else thinks is good for you.

Hey 02ws6owner,
you should use the search button on DD cam topic , there's alot of info there

and alot of questions, A4 OR M6, if auto you will def. need a stall

OR give MIKE at G-FORCE a call - they can spec, sell,& install

Thanks for all of the advise. I think ima go with the patriot cam 225/229 hope it gives me a good amount of hp gain and torque. I'm really only aiming for 400rwhp since its still my DD.

T-REX

only way to go.... if you have a4 get 4000 stall w/ 3.73's if m-6 get 4.10's
i used the T-REX in my m-6 for a DD its a big cam but with 4.10's its not bad at all, plus it pulls HARD and lopes HARD, sounds really bad a$$ with full exhaust..... everyone will give you compliments everywhere you go.... older men at gas stations will ask you if you put a big block in it lol

As you can see, everyone will tell you to run what they like.

I'd be suprised if you'll hit 400 rwhp cam only with a small cam like that. Depending on what you make now, I'd imagine you'll get somewhere around 380.
Don't worry about dyno numbers though. Build your car as a complete set up and you'll have better results.

Just do heads and z06 cam and hit 400 if you want a serious DD style car.
