Well i raced my friends 95 GT.. It has cam,gears,full exhuast. And i have a 05 GTO with exhast.. Well we go from a dig and i gave him the hit.. I did't heat up my tires,and he dead hooked. I spun pretty bad,and i didn't catch him till third and i blew by him hard.. Next i said lets go from a roll. So we do a 5 mph roll. I honked it off and i spin again, first and second. Go to hit third and it gets caught between 3-5 WTF.. To make things worst these kids are talking **** saying my car is slow. I no its not cause i out run my buddies stock cobra. (he ran a 12.8) ever time. I was just having a bad day, and needed to vent. So here it is.. Thanks for reading.. Has anyone else have a lost like this???

haha its all good...i just did a few runs with my buddy and would jump out every time just to have him come by me when i'd do a bad shift

My first race ever in my car was against a friends 2002 Mustang GT. My car was completely stock. His had intake/exhaust. His was an auto and dead hooked. It was my first weekend of owning the car and I really had no idea what I was doing. I dumped the clutch, spun hard in first, shifted to second and it got sideways and had to let out of it. Got back on the gas and still managed to run him down at the top of 3rd but it was WAY to close.

After that race though I praticed launching my car pretty much every day and I got pretty good at it. I got called out by a 2002 auto Z28 a couple months later and he only got a front fender on me threw first gear. Put about 3 lengths on him threw the quarter. Throttle control

Sucks to lose to a slower car, but how do you outrun your buddy's 12.8s Cobra every time w/ an exhaust-only LS2 GTO?
