Not looking for all out race cars but some 50/50 cars running in the 9's. Been told no one runs a Fast with a NA setup and runs 9's or better?? I have a couple of threads around trying to figure out an intake. I feel my build will support 9's with roughly 3300-3400 lbs car just don't want to miss it because of chosing the wrong intake. Thanks for the help. See sig for build info.

Cam will be somewhere in the 250/260 .720 lift 110 and 1.8 rockers.

Is the super vic good for low end or just high hp? Also, I have searched this and seems that the elbows are killing these intakes?? Thanks for the help.

Right now I am inbetween a ported Fast 92 and sheetmetal. I feel the sheetmetal isn't worth the cost/hassle and the new fiber tuned intake is quite aways from being ready to go if it even works as advertised. Seems the top mounted intakes have been the better performers so far due to better distribution. Just need an elbow that doesn't take away from that.

I run the stock L76 intake but with your solid roller obviously that type of intake isn't going to work for you.

No, I got rid of all that L92/L76 crap. Worst purhase ever. Leaning torward Ported Fast 92 and waiting till next year when some of these new style intakes become tested.

fast 92 ported out to tsp's 100mm or vengence who ever does it they do 95mm too but sheetmetal would be worth it imo:secret2:

During my searches I have noticed that for the cost of a sheetmetal most are not happy with them.

For a solid roller set up yes but it's working well for me. Mid 9's so far.

bla bla bla how do you go from an 11.7 on motor to a 9.7 on a 150 shot:bs: by the time the track opens I might have a car to run on motor or something else to beat your 11.7 on motor run LMAO

Alright, I have decided to go with a Vengence ported 92 Fast. They have a great deal going on now and I have talked with a couple of builders/tuners on this site and they all said to go with the Fast for any kind of street driving, even for a 50/50 car. Thanks for all the input guys.

i told before ne time, you guys have had all season. it will be another animal this year, one that u or any of the mms crew wont be able to stand with, well, not like you could keep up before but you can try i told you $500 a lesson. its called building a nitrous car it will run really good on nitrous and not so great on the motor, high gearing, glide and tall tire mixed with a tight convertor isnt a good thing. you will figure it out soon enough assuming it stays together

I have a FAST 92/92 on my 12:1 408 and I was thinking of going with a sheetmetal or vic jr. would making the change be worth any ET? Im not real worried about street mannors but dont want it to suck either

what are you doing to get down to that weight? i have no clue what my car will weigh, i'd like to hit a high 9 if possible. i'll be packing a NA hydraulic pump-gas 454 with TFS245's...i had a 92, sold it for a fiber-tuned, now i'm thinking about going back to the ported FAST for streetability...maybe.

i have no idea what i need to get under 3500#'s with me in it (130#'s). i have a UMI tubular everything front and rear, AC delete, and some misc other things that don't add up to much, and a VFN hood....but i'm adding the LSX block's weight. anyone have any clue what the car might weigh? it's got a M6 and 9" too...
