First time at the track in my stock trans am
Hey guys today i finally went out to thunder valley here in Oklahoma and ran my 99 m6 trans with ONLY a cutout. I ran it about 10 times lol and was nervous on most and could not launch for anything! Lol
My best run was this
60'......2.466
330.....6.155
1/8......9.146
mph.....82.32
1000.....11.695
1/4.......13.836
mph......105.59
My car was at about 205 degrees and the tempature is hard to say since it started dropping like crazy about this point. but id say it was about 60. I also had a strong headwind.

Same here, I was having some traction issues on my 2nd and 3rd run. My first run was the best 13.42 @ 107 and I forgot to turn the A/C off. I think I could have pulled 13.0 or 13.1 with a good launch and no A/C.

Need to slip the clutch off the line smooth and forget trying to just launch quickly. Works for me and the Fiancee.
60fts always range between 1.99 and 2.19 for us... Only time I've seen higher is at 72K on the clock the clutch slipped on a hotlap pass and I got a 3.xx 60ft.

Great runs for the first time out.
You'd find a couple of tenths the easy way by getting that engine temp down... Replace that stock therm with a 160 and you'll see quite a remarkable difference in daily performance.
Welcome to the speed jones... which by the way makes crack look like solid gold; but drag racing is A LOT more fun.
See ya at the track.
