New Guy here from northen illinois Hey,I'm jake , 18 ,from Carpentersville ,illinois,I'm a electricians apprentice
I have 3 fbodies, (3rd gens)
My first is my dd. a 86 Trans am, LB9 305 Tpi/700R4
BW 3:23 posi rear

Then my 86 Irocz

Then my 1992 RS,project
Was a 305 TBI/700R4
Now I'm working on it, here's what parts I have/ what I plan to do
L98 350 Tpi
Dart 215cc iron eagle heads, - 2.05 valves- 1.55 roller springs
Tpis zz-x camshaft, - .598 lift 242 @50 duration- Hyd roller cam
Crane cams gold 1.6 roller rockers
Tpis miniram intake
42lb injectors
1000cfm 58mm holley billet TB
180degree stat
Underdrive pulley
Smog pump pulley delete
Stock ECM tuned- ED wright superchips

Damn.. how much is he selling that 95 for then? I love 4th gens.. I dont mean to sound biased, but I am.. lol a friend tried to race me with his 92 camaro with a 305 5 speed with full bolt-on's and gears and my T/A stock walked right past him like he was nothing..
Your projects would definitely do a lot of power to them though.. Idk I just love the look of the 4th gens you know?

For $7k and 67k, I will personally go to wherever you are located and personally bitch slap you across the face if you don't buy that.. lol I've always wanted a Firehawk and the thought of getting one for that good of a deal should be a decision maker for you.. they are fun cars.. just keep a DD 3rd gen and you are good to go

How old are you? Well you are in Illinois, I'm in Iowa.. Its not too far of a drive.. I think it is beautiful.. If I woulda been F-bodyless today, I would have told you to pass that deal on to me.. I bought mine at $6500 for 98k on it and its a 97 WS6, but I've always wanted a sexy FireHawk.. just get er done. Payments shouldn't be too bad at all

Here's what I did..
Got my Dad to loan me the $7000 for car (title, plates, registration, etc.)
Got him to only charge me 4.5% interest - put $1000 down
$170/mo. for car and $40/mo. for insurance
36 month payment
Just have your parents put it as their car in the registration, then have them put you under insurance under them as your secondary car (keep your 3rd gen DD as your primary) and then insurance will be cheap
My dad at first hated the fact of getting a used car. He only buys brand new (he has a 2003 Silverado 2500HD w/ 36k and a 2007 Solstice GXP with 5k)
He said my Trans Am would be a "piece of ****". Funny, I've came home and caught him going on weekend drives with the T-Tops off for his own enjoyment or taking it to work.. isnt that what his Solstice is for? Yep, sounds like a POS to me
