Default LS6 valves worth it?

Are the LS6 2.0/1.55 hollow valves worth it? I've got a set of 5.3s ported and 2.05/1.6 ferra valves. The heads a bare and need to go to the machine shop to get the seats cut for the 2.05s is it worth the extra cost?

If your installing these on a stock bore LS1/6 you're better off with the smaller valves. The larger valves shroud the combustion chamber and reduce flow. For a larger bore, the larger valves along with the appropriate unshrouding would be a greater benefit.

From a valvetrain perspective, less weight is always better. If you can get a good deal on the LS6 valves, go for it. If not, don't sweat it and use a nice light beehive spring.

Solid advice.
