it all depends on what you are willing to put up with? is the car a daily driver? i have a Lunati 242/242 .595 .595 112LSA in a C5 Corvette, it jerks you around at a stoplight but if you ask me its worth it. Lost some bottom end power but made good top end.

id go for a tsp 224 or 228 for good mid low power...the cams your looking at are more mid/high power range cams...unless you have an a4 with the right converter then you would be fine with them..

You could also look at our time proven 224 cam. It has been and still is our most popular cam for years. Great for a daily driver and about 400 to the wheels. There are many full weight street cars running that cam going mid 11's at the track.

Thanks,
Shane

Looks like everyone is steering you in the right direction here. Avoid the temptation to go bigger than you need. 220 to 228 is the sweet spot for street driven power, and will still make big power on the top end, if the VE's are selected carefully.

If you haven't seen it yet, there's lots of good information here:
Do any shops market SMALL cams any more? Why not?

230 230 like i got or smaller...the bigger cams are not worth the small gain in peak hp, plus they give up alot of tq...check out sig for proof

I really liked my TR230. Made awsome power 2k-6k.

Going to try a bigger cam to see how I like top end and no bottom end. lol

I just installed a 224/228. Pulls throughout the RPM range and is very street friendly. You may also want to consider a wider LSA (114) for street to keep the lope down.

Why the hell would you want to do that?
