You should call texas-speed. I called them multiple times and talked to them about all of there cam's. I personally dont like the huge intake on a v.3 however, i do know it makes more horsepower. What i would do is go with a v.2 (232/234 - .598/.598) or a 233/239 cam witch makes even more horsepower (233/239 - .595/.603). The 228 cam, while good (228/228 - .588/.588), doesnt make as much power as the others, and as you can see, theres not a huge difference between the 228 and the v.2, and the v.2 will make more power. The v.3's specs are 231/234 - .643/.598.

^^^^Good Advice. I talked to TSP over the phone and am happy with my choice. I went with a TQR V2 which comes alive after 3k RPM. Give them a call, they are very friendly to deal with and can easily explain what lift, duration, and LCA would work best for you and why.

I think calling TSP is a good idea. I have the TV3 and love it, my buddy runs the 228r and he likes it also but wishes he would have gone with the TV3 instead, because my car pulls his better than we expected. I think they are both good cams so give TSP a call and they will hook you up.

I just talked to TSP last night and they seem to think a LQ4 with 5.3 heads with a T V.2 will have PTV issues. I do not know if the heads were milled or not, thats my problem. Or if they have the larger valves. My heads are the Lingenfelter 5.3's. I was all set to buy the V.2 last night but now I am stuck.
