great looking car but i don't care for the spoiler, i prefer a4s with a small lip on the trunk lid or nothing at all.

with that said, i would still drive it:nod:

I agree with you, a small decklid lip would be a lot nicer, but the spoiler on there was put on by the previous owner and he saw fit to drill holes sloppily through the trunk deck, so the spoiler is there to cover them, it was just a sloppy install overall.

They have a surprisingly high resale value....its a 2003 with 60k and hes looking to get 18-20 for it (feeler right now).

Maintenance is expensive....typical German car. His fuel pump failed and it cost him $700 plus to fix the car. The car runs fine now. He wants to get rid of it and wants an B7 S4. To compare maint. costs, I curbed up my car pretty bad hitting a pothole and then trying to swerve, broke both front right control arms, flatbed driver messed up my bumpers/skirts and ripped the CV shaft out of the tranny housing ($3500 worth of total damage) and I have to pay the $300 insurance premium. That really put it into perspective for me.
