Talking please advise me which Cam

I have an A4 ls1 camaro header Y borla pully ls6 intake MSD coils standard rear-end and Patriot LS6 5.7 - STAGE 2 (2.02/1.57/59cc)

My question is what will work better

207/220 .571/.578 w 1.7 rocker 118.5 CL Lingenfelter GT2-3
Or

215/231 .631/.644 w 1.7 rocker 118.0 CL Lingenfelter GT11

Is the GT11 to much lift or is it perfectly fine

Thank you

Thats alot of lift for a tiny cam. Are you dead set on these? If so why? If not Id say go with either a custom grind cam from the likes of predator z or pat g or just be like most beginers and use a 224-228 ish duration cam like the 224r or 228r from texas speed.

If your running .650 lift dual springs then that 215/231 would be near maxed.

if you want a tame idle, I'd go with around a 217/231 .603/.604 117.5

or basically a modified TR cheater cam...

sounds like an ideal 224r setup. That gt11 is a lot of lift for a .650 spring.

Make sure you measure your ptv clearance. Normally lift isnt as important as duration when it comes to ptvc, but seeing as you are 59cc and .644 with 231 duration it might be an issue.
Your buddy is running a cheater cam with headers?
Do you need a small cam to pass a sniffer test or something? Im confused as to why you are using these cams? Anything from a hotcam to a TSP 220 would get you right where you want to be. Look at my sig seems like your goals were similar to mine and Im very comfortably there.

I highly doubt that you will see over 400 rwhp with that setup. Just the facts.
FWIW, I really like my TR224. Read some posts on the 224-228 range cams and see what you think. You have a good start for a strong engine, with any of the cams listed. Just research, research, research. Do it the right way the first time so you don't end up disappointed. There are some really good cams in the 230 range for your setup.

Good luck!!

230 range might be pushing PTV clearance. Ask me how I know and why Im still running a 224/228 114

OP, seriously, why are you considering those?! Dont let the lingenfelter name fool you, there are much better setups! go to these guys.

i will tell you right now, if your going to spend the money on a cam, spend the little amount of extra $$$ and get a CUSTOM ground cam by someone who knows what their doing. I will never get an off the shelf cam again
