This aired on the news last night and they had the 911 call from the man who shot the kid. I'm not trying to make this a race thing, because the kid got what he deserved, but he sounded like a white man. Seeing that he killed a black boy, I think it's best that he kept his identity concealed. Some friends or family might want to make this more than just a man defending his life, and make it a stupid race crime. Black, White, or any other color...I bet the man would've done the same thing.

I just emailed my CHL guy minutes before reading this post. Need to get that class finished. Glad no innocent bystanders were hurt. That is my worst fear with CHL carriers.

I do not have a CHL, i do carry in my car 100% of the time but as stated above, more should have them. I am trying to go to DPS, so i would hate to get a CHL and then be a certified piece officer, dont want to waste the money.

That may not be the exact charge they receive, but I know they will be in the pokey for a good stint. The police caught the one pictured in the article b/c he went up to the hospital to visit the kid before he was pronounced dead. The police arrested him and he snitched on the others.
