My drivers side window wont roll up...
Well last night at about 1am. My drivers side window wouldnt roll up , but my passenger side does(using the drivers side controls). So I left it in a buddies garage last night, and just got back to my car. Checked the connection. It seems legit. What should I check?? And it just stopped working out of nowhere, not slowly like a bad window motor.

Motor probably has gone out. My Pass side was always slow. Then one rainy day after getting my food at Sonic, the driverside didn't roll up. Lots fun driving in pouring rain home. Didn't give a sign of going out, just stop working.

My window motors in my Jeep Grand Cherokee did that about once a year. One day they would work and the next nothing. Probably motor, sometimes you get lucky and it comes back to life.
I think they just seize up sometimes. I know the feeling though.

The passenger side went in mine when my girl was driving it and it was under warranty. They replaced it then right after the warranty went out the driverside went out so she had the motor replaced. Now the passenger side went out again and its still out. If it wasnt for the crappy 10 bolt and the window crap always going out oh and the mysterious rattles from the dash the fbodys would almost be perfect.

Hmm...something similar just happened to my Civic. Except I think the actual lifter is broken because it goes up at an angle but goes down correctly. It is probably off track too since its outside the weatherstripping by the mirror.

my motors fine on my drivers side, the bracket which guides it straight up and down on the other hand. . . snapped at the track last week... Window tries to curve in on me while rolling up. Figured it out yesterday. Needs a few tack-welds and it'll be fine

unfortunately not a cheap fix but relatively easy. just did one on a freinds civic. its the plastic 25 cent guide that breaks. but requires a 150$ regulator purchase just to get that little part.

The window wont go up at all. Not even 1/100th of a centimeter. I was going to check out the fuses but it appears as though theres only 1 fuse for both windows. And my passenger side window works.
Can anyone think of a way to get my window up without fixing the motor right away? My car is at this girls place, just bc I dont have a garage at my apartment. I'd rather like to have my car with me
