Default will these hook??

mods in sig, currently have 275/40/17 Nitto DRs and im worried they arent going to hook in 1st or 2nd with the new cam on the street. Im wondering if i should step it up to a 275/40/17 Mickey or even the 295/45/17 mickey. Opinions plz

those gears plus a decent cam and tune, traction is always gonna be a little ruff on stock suspension. just upgrade wheels to something that holds a 315 M/T

i know its going to be ruff, but when i got the gears i had BFG KDW with the flame patter and right on the nose at 3500 the car would pitch sideways and cover the intersection in smoke. I dont want this to happen with this cam and im goign to need to put tires on it before i have the motor broken in so i can hammer it on my old nittos to see if they work. Id rather not go to mickeys right away if i dont have to

You need mickeys, I have 4.30s and full bolt ons and its trickey with a 27" et street bias ply on the street. On the track she hooks like a ****!

we put a 275/40/17 nitto 555r set on king02ss 's camaro after putting his cam in and his 4k stall and he still breaks them loose out of the hole and again when he gets deeper in 1st gear. thats with bolt on, stock gears, and a cam only.
