Angry 2001 chevy 1500 4.8 need help!!!1

i have a 2001 chevy truck 4.8 it ran hot gasket blown. my ? is will a 241 head work on there ill just change both of them?

you could put the 241's on but, i think you will lose power because the 4.8 shares the heads that are on the 5.3 motor.

the 241's will lower your cr

ok heads off it was a head gasket that blew. So 241 heads around how much hp i will lose

since your in new orleans i know there is a good machine shop somewhere!! So just have them milled some! its like $80
