Default "How To" R&R Gears

By anychance does anyone have a "how to" or "write up" with some pics? I have a 98ss with a A4 with the stock 3:23's and I am upgrading to Richmond 3:73's. If anyone could direct me that would be cool. Also what would seals and bearing would i need to rebuild my rear end. Thanks guys

We also have a full downloadable installation manual on our website that we helped write for Yukon Gear. I do not car for the gears much these days but the installation manual is about as detailed as you can get. Just click on the link and there will be a downloadable link on the page. how long does this take for someone with not much experience, and is it do able for a rookie?

Check my sig, my write up is a bit different, it highlights the things that can go wrong. My housing was not suitable for a swap assuming that the factory pinion was good enough. I had to play a lot with the shimming.

How long does an install usually take, including replacing bearings?

Some people seem to do it insanely fast. I had to make tools and do a lot of set ups before my gears were done. It took me around 20 hours the second time but I took my time to do it right.
