Default WTF is with Greg Weld prices

Ok so back when I first got my front runners I bought them from summit for 109.95. I sold them because I wasn't using them and I had a guy offer me new price for them.

Well I was going to order another set just to have skinnies on the front, but **** now they are 150.95!!!! So much for a budget wheel.

So they are dragging their feet on fitting the rears when they posted they were "developing" a direct fit wheel just for us, then they up the price by 50 bucks a wheel.

I have lost all respect for them. Good luck selling your wheels that don't fit Greg Weld.

Sorry for the rant.

I think the price of ALL wheels have gone up and it was known a while back that they were gonna go up after a certain date.

Maybe the pricing may have been an introductory price. The old pricing was unbelievably low...even at 150.00, that is reasonable. It would be still a very good economy wheel price-point.

Think of how much gas costs this past summer when you were filling the car up. ...so there are worse things that I can think of. :-).

I noticed the price jump on them too today while I was looking at our suggested retail prices on motorstate. They are still a good deal cheaper than Weld Draglites or Prostars. Either way the rears will probably never fit our cars, and even if they do they still look like ***. The fronts are not bad for a budget setup though.

Sorry for the rant, I wasn't in a good mood last night and I was about ready to order some then say the 50 dollar increase. I think I'm gonna go with the Summit Stars, and hell I just noticed they went up 10 bucks a wheel since two weeks ago.
