Default Pushrod Length with .020 milled heads and a B1cam??

What pushrod length do i need with .020 milled heads and a B1 cam? TIA...

Stock (7.400) should be fine. Your cam's base circle should be close to .030 less than stock. So with that and your .020 milling of the heads, you would only have a difference of .010, which the lifters can handle.

OK..I'll check into it...Anyone else done this swap also??? I'll check the base circle of the cam.

Just remember, the 'Base Circle' is the distance across the lobe. The cam's 'Centerline to Lobe Heel' distance is whats important. You will need to cut the 'Base Circle' distance in half to get this. Compare the stock cam with the aftermarket cam. I think you will find that the aftermarket cam's 'Centerline to Lobe Heel' distance is about .025" to .030" less than the stock cam.

If the base circle is .030 less then you have .015 less on the pushrod. Your after the radius number here, not the diamater.
