Default ALL NEW Precision Race Components .700" Xtreme Lift Spring kit!

Guys we just received the first production of all new PRC .700" Xtreme Lift double springs! This combo is designed for people wanting more spring pressures for L92/LS7 valves, or looking for additional lift past the standard 1.291" springs .660" configuration.

This all new spring features a 1.351" OD which will not fit a standard spring pocket, but with only slight modifications these springs will install & still leave plenty of clearance for most ports!

The all new spring kit will be available with a spring pocket cutter for guys interested in cutting the spring pockets locally, or we offer the service on any of our PRC cylinder heads FREE OF CHARGE!!!

Here's a few of the new springs specs:

Specs:

MAX. OUTSIDE DIAMETER 1.351"
MAXIMUM NET LIFT @ 1.850" I.H. .700"
LOAD 1 (L1=1.850 in) 160
LOAD 2 (L2=1.150in) 460

This spring will be the perfect answer to all the guys pushing the limits of valve control with the aggressive lobes & heavier valves. The LS7 / L92 guys don't have to worry about heavy valve control anymore!

This all new spring should allow budget minded consumers to purchase 400cfm LS7 heads from PRC for low $2000 range! This should bring 600rwhp stroker prices even more reasonable! Look for a LS7 head 420cid LS3 engine with stainless valves on the engine dyno here very shortly! We're shooting for a 700hp street engine that everyone can afford!

This will be great for guys wanting to run those fancy new .367" Comp lobes with LS7 heads (giving .661" lift) or many of the other high lift lobes. I'm keeping this in mind. Good stuff!

The standard spring easily handles the MS4 & Torquer 3 camshaft. These springs are designed for bigger lift or heavy valves that need help with valve control.

Those are a nice spring. They're priced pretty well considering most springs in that range cost a little bit less, but don't come with all the extras. It should, but will the 1.35 diameter clear stock and most aftermarket rockers?

The comp 987 (1.46 diam) cleared my jessels, I am sure these will clear.
These would be great for shimming in extra seat pressure in a forced induction application, looks like you could have 200# on the seat with .100 of shim? Have to see if theres enough money left for these.
Are you going to sell the springs alone?

The $499 does not include the tool. These springs do require a different retainer than our standard dual spring kit, and will not work with anyone else's retainer that we've found so far. So, buying the springs alone wouldn't do much good for you I am afraid.

I change my springs every 2 years. I already have two different sets of retainers. Before I buy a third set I want to know the (approx) price I will be paying for replacement springs in two years when I change them.
Its a shame (to my knowledge) there isnt a spring that uses the 1.4x od retainer thats works on our cars in high lift applications.

Gotcha! The single springs will run about $20 each when you're ready to replace them.

Do you know the seat preassure at .600 lift?

Just trying to see mid-lift pressures.

Thanks!
