Default Air Lid Question

I removed my egr and air systems, and now i have a hole in the side of my lid. I need some ideas to tasefully cover the quarter sized hole. As of right now, i have an attractive piece of duct tape there. LOL. any ideas appreciated

Go to your local hardware store & look for a plastic plug or other. Should be a cheap flat plastic plug that works. You may have to experiment. If necessary, buy something larger & drill it out to fit.
FYI, I've done this with a couple lids that I've painted for projects for the 1998-2000 models that don't require it. Simply add a small bead of silicone to help seal it up if necessary.
If fact, that's what SLP does when you buy a lid these days. They send a plug with it just in case you don't use the AIR porthole.

Like Pontiacfan said they have plugs at the hardware store. I got mine at Lowes in the section with the nuts and bolts...they are in the drawers with the specialty fasteners. They have all sizes...just take the lid in and match it up. They are about $1!
