Default What size tires are you guys running with front runners?

I plan on running 15x8 in the rear with a 275/60-15 and need a front tire that will work with the 275/60/15. My car has traction control and I don't want to have problems with it. I would like to run the 165/80-15s but they are only a 26 inch tall tire.

I am looking for more of a street tire to run. If I run a 28" tall tire in the rear will I have to run a 28" tire in the front also because of traction control?

wish I could help you...no traction control on my ride, nor abs

good luck.

btw I'm not sure you can even find those radial tires anymore...I looked when buying my front runners and none were to be found.

why would you have too run a 28" in the front?? Not only will it look goofy but there is no reason too, my car has both traction and ABS and I run a 26x7.5x15 MT sportsman in the front.

Thats why I posted the thread because I wanted to know if I had to run the same diameter front and rear tire. I would rather run the 26 inch tall tire on the front.
They do still make and sell the 165r/15s.

The 275/50-15 is a 26" tall tire. Theres not much difference in the diameter from your front to rear.

I bought a rear end with 4.10 gears so I am looking t otry and run a little taller tire than my 275/40-17s so that the gears are a little better on a street driven car. I have had a lot of people tell me the 4.10s will be tolerable in my a4 on the street and then some say it will suck.
