Well gang I just got another vert. This one is a 99 and is in pretty good shape. However I am missing the rear trunk panels and panel that sits between the back seat and trunk. Any ideas on where to pick this stuff up?? I've called a few of my local salvage yards and got nothing. I figured the passenger side spare tire cover is different than the hardtop and t-top cars. Let me know if you guys know anyone or have any suggestions.

you'll probably have to got thru the dealership, i saw a pic of a guy here who made new ones with what seemed to be wood, or plastic and just recovered them. kind of like a speaker box. they looked really good and stable. mine keep floating around and i hate it.

unfortunately those parts will be kinda hard to find since they are different for a vert..like stated before you may have to go to the dealer or wait around for a salvage yard to get a vert, either way good luck

thats what I figured... I've been all over craigslist, I am scared to see what one of those covers would run from the stealership:confused:

I'm looking for the plastic panel on the passenger side that covers the spare tire and goes all the way up to the rear seat and the plastic panel that seperates the trunk from the back seat

Try this salvage yard. Name is Performance Auto Salvage He specializes in F-bodys. he is in San Antonio,Tx but may ship to you. I know he does business on Ebay. His name is Mark. His no is 210-649-2554. If not,try this website. They say they have used parts, as well as new.

Contemporary Corvette isn't jsut a Corvette junkyard. It's also one of the largest Fbody junkyards in the country (they also have GTO/CTS-V/Impala SS cars too). I have spent thousands there for all sorts of misc parts and can vouch for both their parts and service.

Check them out.

For the record I guess I have been out of the loop for a while or around 2 many t-top cars or something cause its def carpet over the spare tire. The deck panel I def need. Where does that clip in to in the rear, anybody have any pics?
