Yes, it is. I was shocked. I was expecting mid 350 to low 360.

Dude, that's awsome.

And your tuning (as far as A/F goes) is perfect on 2 of the 3 runs. Right around 13.0!

We are making similiar power with our Hotcams. The numbers in my sig are before my ASP pulley and my latest (leaner) tune!

Tommy

PS Don't know why everyone makes fun of the Hotcam. Look at the Torque on our "tiny low-lift" cam!

FYI, I added 3 degrees of timing at WOT with no knock. (From 28 to 31 degrees)

What else have you done to the engine? Is it stock with just a cam swap? I take it those numbers are RWHP?

I like those numbers!!! I might go Hot cam now. I just put the LT4 Hot cam in my buddies 1985 L98 TPI Corvette. It had a flat tappet cam but a GM roller block so we put all the GM rollers stuff in it with that cam and a set of Dart Pro 1 200cc heads. His car cam ALIVE!!! We are going to program it on the dyno this weakend I hope. Maybe I will have some numbers on it next week. Anyhow, the LS1 Hotcam is suposed to be a direct copy of the LT4 Hotcam. I am thinking hard on getting one for my car. I am buying the ATI D-1SC kit this coming Feb. Wonder how well that would work? ATI 8# boost, LS1 Hotcam, and lower my juice to 25hp coming on at 4000 with the 3500 converter? Any guesses?

i made 365 rwhp through the moser and without pully and ls6 intake. i really liked it and wished sometimes i gave it more time to work out wiht my car. oh well. only thing is it is really rowdy for such a small intake duration.

Personally, I'd avoid a 112 LSA on forced induction and an A4, tuning or not. The hotcam likes spray but I would get a nice blower cam in your shoes.

I just got my Paceseters installed a few days ago and am going to the dyno this Thursday. Almost identical setup as you guys. I have no clue on how to post a dyno graph but I will post up the numbers.

Nice numbers. I have been contemplating that cam for my car off and on for a while now. I always see good results, but I'm not sure if I want all the lope and I would need to tune it for my auto. Do you have a sound clip of it running through your true duals? My duals arent too bad now, but I'd like to have a heads up as to what they'd be like.

I've been thinking about gettiing this cam, but will I have to get it tuned or could it just be swapped out? Reason I ask is because I can get the cam, but probably won't have enough for the tune if I did, so if I did have to get the tune I would just wait and get something else. I got a 99 m6 if that helps. Thanks ya'll!!

The cam will work fairly well in an untuned M6, will probably need to drill the TB hole slighty for the idle not to hunt on a warm start.

Trojan-Unfortunately I do not. I will tell you that it sounds mean as hell. When I was on the dyno the operators said it was extremely loud, and they had been dynoing all day (I went last). I don't think its to bad at all, but the car is no longer my daily driver. I would go for it.

ninobrn99-My car is still untuned, and the cam has been in since July. It hunts for idle a little, but its pretty good. Tuning would be beneficial.

I can tell you it is very choppy in the L98 TPI 350 we put it in. As I said before, the LS1 Hotcam is the same grind profile as the LT4 Hotcam. It is very choppy. We are going to tune it this weekend and see if we can tame it a bit. As for weither or not it would work good with an ATI Supercharger, why not? Why is it good with nitrous but not a charger? I am not trying to start a war by asking that. I am trully curiouse and I do not want to make the mistake of buying one if it will make for a bad combo. Saying that, I personly don't see anything negative about using it with a supercharger. That was our plan with the 85 Vette.

Now back to the Hotcam, it and the Dart Pro 1 heads made a very big difference on the L98. The bottom end power was even helped alot. Heck the whole power range came alive all the way to 6500. Ofcourse it TPI engines will make great bottom end power even with big cams due to the 15" runners. The LT1 and LT4 will be hurt in the bottom end due to their 3" runners. But with the LS1 9" runner, I would think the bigger cams will benifit on both ends. So tell me what you think and don't flame me. I am looking for an honost answer to my question.
