I Made it to dead hookers(from texas) but didnt get a chance to see this event. I did get a chance to see quite a few of the cars tho... B E A utiful.

I think it's just the first shift that is intentionally slow. Looks like the drivers are taking is easy on the launch as to not spin the tires &/or have to lift. Although, I did see one car that consistantly spun through the 60ft & lifted. There was also a car that you could hear whos Granny shifting took forever. For the most part, thought the shifting was good.

the red GTS on 20s, is boostalmighty on VA.... bone stock car, except for UGR PAxton kit and fuel system, made about 850 rwhp. on 20s you can see what he ran on the video, but he put a set of 17" DR's on and went 9.56 at 148 mph, stock motor. Sucks I didn't get a video of that, it was a sweet run.

he was the fastest car there because he was the best driver, no question, he cut multiple 1.31 60 foots on the 17" DR's with a 6 speed!!! Even a stock clutch! Everyone else is built up to the tilt.

every car in the video is a full street car, the most they do to race is swap wheels/put race gas in. They have full interior, AC and everything... these guys do not build "race cars" they are all bad ass street cars :drive:

The red viper at 4:20 is a local guy around here. He races for $$ and $$ only. the car went 1.3's on Dr's. Sick car for sure..
